We only access the Shopify data needed to run discount campaigns, widgets, analytics, billing, and support for your store. We do not sell merchant data.

1. Who we are

2. Data we access

Shop details such as domain, currency, locale, and timezone
Products, collections, variants, and tags needed for campaign targeting
Discount records created or managed by the app
Order and discount usage data needed for campaign analytics attribution
Customer tag data needed for customer-segment targeting when merchants enable that feature
Session and authentication data required by Shopify embedded apps

3. Data we store

Session records and shop authentication state, with access tokens encrypted at the application layer
Campaign configuration data created by the merchant
Analytics records related to campaign usage, including pseudonymized order references
App settings such as locale and onboarding status

We do not intentionally store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or unrelated personal profile data in our own analytics records.

To create and manage discount campaigns
To run discount logic through Shopify Functions
To sync storefront widget data to Shopify metafields
To show campaign analytics and billing state
To provide merchant support

5. Data sharing

We do not sell merchant or customer data. Data may be processed by Shopify and infrastructure providers strictly to operate the app.

6. Data retention

While the app is installed, merchant configuration and analytics data may be retained to provide the service
After uninstall, session data is deleted promptly and shop data is removed according to our cleanup and compliance process
Merchants can request deletion by emailing us

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of store data associated with your installation.

8. Shopify compliance

MultiTier Discounts implements Shopify compliance webhooks for data requests and redaction workflows.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards, including HTTPS, application-level encryption or pseudonymization for stored protected data, encrypted backups when configured, and restricted application-level access to stored data.

We may update this policy over time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
